New CPR Questions Coming to the Theory Test – We’re Already Ready

What’s changing, in plain English
- The DVSA is updating official learning to include CPR and AED (defibrillator) knowledge for car and motorcycle learners.
- Questions on these topics are planned to appear in the theory test next year (Early 2026).
- Official books and apps are being refreshed.
- Our videos below already cover the key facts learners and instructors need.

For learners
Learning to drive isn’t just about the test. It’s about having what you need when it counts.

- Add CPR and AED knowledge to your revision routine

How to study:
- Watch the set once without pausing.
- Watch again and take the key numbers down.

What if there’s no defibrillator nearby?
Start hands-only CPR and keep going until help arrives or you are told to stop. 999 will point you to the nearest AED
